A Lost Season; What can Philly do to Recover?

After he spent most of the season on the sidelines, the Philadelphia 76ers opted to rest Joel Embiid for the rest of the season in an attempt to get him as close to 100% as possible for next November. With the season all but lost, the organization has all but shifted their focus to the offseason, and will likely be looking for any opportunity to rest Tyrese Maxey, the only member of the Big 3 to not yet be set aside officially for the season.

Can All Star Games be Saved?

In recent years, fans of the NFL and NBA have watched the quality of their respective All Star games (whatever they may be named) fall off a cliff. Both sports have played around with different formats, and both have arguably been worse than their predecessors. In lieu of the NBA's most recent crack at it, we will talk about if and how these events can improve.

Pushing Through: The Eagles' Path to Victory

A brutal first 4 weeks had many Eagles fans reeling, but not the team. They rattled off 12 wins in 13 weeks, grabbing the 2 seed in the NFC, and finally getting the chance to avenge the years of playoff disappointment they have endured since their 2017 Super Bowl win. Saquon Barkley led the way through a foggy NFC playoff picture, but the team mostly dominated, and only looked like they could lose for a couple of minutes in their divisional matchup against the Rams.

2025 Super Bowl Preview

Welcome to the worst reality. I personally thought that one Super Bowl matchup was enough, but this year we were (un)lucky enough to get round 2 of Chiefs-Eagles. In the past 10 years, each of these teams have been the overwhelming fan choice against a Tom Brady led team in a Super Bowl. Wow, look how fast times can change. All of the hatred directed at KC and Philly have distracted fans from just how good of a matchup this could be, though. So here, we will take a look at what could decide this year's Super Bowl matchup.

UNC Basketball's Subtle Shift

Since Roy Williams' departure following the 2020-21 season, UNC Basketball has quietly shifted their team-building strategy. Previously, like most "blue-bloods," the team relied on an influx of one-and-done players to lead the team each year. Williams retired, and left the keys to the building on the desk of his longtime assistant, Hubert Davis. In the 3.5 years that Davis has been at the helm, he has put a silent yet noticeable emphasis on retaining players for longer periods of time.

The 76ers; A Perfect Representation of the NBA's Ratings Crisis

The Philadelphia 76ers, after signing Paul George in the offseason, find themselves 15-27, on the outside looking in on the play-in picture. A team that, for the past 5 or so seasons, has been considered a lock for the postseason year after year. A team that, for the past 5 or so seasons, has been considered a strong contender for the top 3 seeds year after year. However, this same team, like so many others in the NBA, has been plagued by long-term injuries to key players. In an attempt to preserve their stars' health over the course of the season, the Sixers, like so many others in the NBA, entered the dungeon of load management.

How has Sports Betting Affected Soccer?

In recent times the relevance of sports betting has grown enormously, and changed how people view sports in general.
