The 2025 NFL Draft has concluded, and a largely chalked first few picks turned shocking when the Colorado star QB Shedeur Sanders went unselected. Here, we will cover the biggest storylines from all 3 days and answer some of the biggest questions.
This offseason, there were 7 NFL teams that hired a new Head Coach. Some were obvious, some were puzzling, but there can be goods and bads found in each. Here, we will rank each one from top to bottom, looking at the fit, and taking a look at what this next season and future seasons could look like.
A brutal first 4 weeks had many Eagles fans reeling, but not the team. They rattled off 12 wins in 13 weeks, grabbing the 2 seed in the NFC, and finally getting the chance to avenge the years of playoff disappointment they have endured since their 2017 Super Bowl win. Saquon Barkley led the way through a foggy NFC playoff picture, but the team mostly dominated, and only looked like they could lose for a couple of minutes in their divisional matchup against the Rams.

In the past 10 years, each of these teams have been the overwhelming fan choice against a Tom Brady led team in a Super Bowl. Wow, look how fast times can change. All of the hatred directed at KC and Philly have distracted fans from just how good of a matchup this could be, though. So here, we will take a look at what could decide this year's Super Bowl matchup.

One of the first articles published on this website last year was titled exactly this. Now, at this point 1 year ago, I truly did believe that there were only 5 contenders. In the NFL, you are lucky to find a coach that stays with a team for 10 years or more. You could have great success for 5 years, but 1 or 2 bad seasons and you are gone. You could win Coach of the Year, but 1 or 2 bad seasons and you are gone (Matt Nagy). The worst of all , however, is one that many teams are often guilty of -- firing your coach after just 1 season, many of which were never given a real chance because of just how bad their roster was. Here, we will take a look at all the coaches fired after (or during) their first season in the past5 years, how it worked out for their respective teams, and whether the firing was fair.
Last week, the Eagles made a move to acquire former first round pick and Penn State product Jahan Dotson from their in-division rival, the Washington Commanders. The decision was made with roster cut down days coming up, and while Dotson certsainly would've found his way into the 53 man squad, he wasn't a big enough contributor to put him into untouchable territory, and with Washington still likely well out of contention, there was no use in keeping him around.
Through just 2 weeks of the NFL season we already have pure chaos. The Bengals? 0-2. Same with the Ravens. Bryce Young? Benched. Here, though, we will be looking at the 5 biggest takeaways after each team's first 2 games.
This year more than ever, the abnormally large ratio of quarterbacks picked compared to others was especially evident. Picks 1, 2, and 3. All QBs. Pick 8, for whatever reason, was a QB, and truthfully was the main reason this is being written. 2 more would come in the next 4 picks, with one of them being a projected day 2-3 pick. So, yes it makes sense that the most important position on the field would be picked more than others, but why reach so much for 1) someone you don't even need or 2) someone you could have gotten later in the draft?

On Tuesday, the Tennessee Titans signed former Bengals WR Tyler Boyd on a 1 year deal worth up to $4.5 Million. Tennessee continues to add to their WR room, as Boyd is the second notable signing -- the first being Calvin Ridley -- made by GM Ran Carthon and co. this offseason. While the signing is great for the overall team and will give them a brand new slot receiver with ties to new HC Brian Callahan (the Bengals former OC), it leaves the future of 2022 first round pick Treylon Burks in doubt.

After years of trouble at the quarterback position following their Super Bowl loss, and even more so following Matt Ryan's departure, the Falcons signed former Vikings QB Kirk Cousins. Despite his season ending Achilles injury, he was still one of the most sought after QBs on the market in the offseason. Directly following their deal, it was viewed as an overpay for an aging Quarterback coming off of an injury and joining a new system. Still, the team made the signing and would have to live with that decision.

Back in 2022, when the Jaguars and Lions held the top two picks in the draft, there were rumors floating around about 4 QBs who could possibly go in the first round. 1 of them did. Speaking of that one, Kenny Pickett is in line to back up Russell Wilson at the start of the 2024 season. There is also only 1 QB who has a solidified starter spot. That one man is Brock Purdy, Mr. Irrelevant.

This year, much to many fans dismay, we will be getting a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl. However, instead of Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm, the 49ers have the new and exciting QB in Brock Purdy, last year's "Mr. Irrelevant" who has led the 49ers to two straight top-2 seeds.
The 2023 Draft Class was filled with talent from top to bottom, and the top 10 picks were no different. There were certainly some ups and downs, but overall it was a well built out group of players. Here is a look at how the top 10 would shake out if there was a redraft today.
In the 2017/2018 Playoffs, the Titans faced the Chiefs in the Wild Card Round. With Marcus Mariota and DeMarco Murray leading a comeback, they would go on to defeat the Chiefs before falling to the Patriots in the Divisional Round.

In my mind, there are 5 teams in this year's NFL playoffs that have separated themselves from the pack as real contenders. Obviously, there is always the chance that a team comes out of nowhere and makes a deep run, but these 5 times are the clear favorites.
If you have watched the Eagles over the last 3-4 weeks of the NFL Regular Season, you would know that they have struggled mightily in nearly all facets of the game. To say the least, they have been dreadfully underperforming during this span, and have had the worst NFL 3rd-down defense at 48% (via Yahoo! Sports). Opposing offenses on average would convert on 3rd down just under 1 out of every 2 times. Even though they addressed their secondary need by acquiring Kevin Byard from the Titans, they have still been mediocre there if not bad. Before Week 18, the Philly allowed six 300-yard games from opposing quarterbacks (via SportsNaut). It is becoming increasingly clear that the Eagles have one of if not the worst defense in the playoffs.
